Presented by the Royal Flemish Chemical Society (KVCV), Food Division, and the Food Chemistry Division of the Federation of European Chemical Societies (FECS); the conference featured sessions on risk assessment, management, and communication and on mycotoxin exposure and detection. New analytical strategies discussed included HPLC-FLD and HPLC-ESI-MS for simultaneous detection of type A and type B trichothecenes.
