Recent Publications

The proceedings of the Fifth International Workshop on Food Mycology have been collected in Advances in Food Mycology, edited by A. D. Hocking (Springer-Verlag 2006). The 2003 workshop held in Samso, Denmark, focused particularly on the ecology ofmycotoxigenic fungi, as well as on mycotoxin control strategies. Among the papers included in this volume are“Ecophysiology of Fumonisin Producers in Fusarium Section Liseola,” “Black Aspergillus Species in Australian Vineyards,” “Effect ofWater Activity and Temperature on the Production of Aflatoxin and Cyclopiazonic Acid by Aspergillus Flavus in Peanuts,” and “Prevention of Ochratoxin A in Cereals in Europe. ”
