2010, Volume XIII, Issue 1FUTURE SYMPOSIA AND MEETINGSAn international Fusarium laboratory workshop, Fusarium 2010, will be held at the University of Rio Cuarto, Argentina, on March 7–12, 2010. Seven international Fusarium experts will give lectures and provide hands-on laboratory training at the event. The workshop program will include instruction on test methods for identifying vegetative compatibility groups (VCGs); morphological identification of the most common Fusarium species; and DNA extraction, PCR amplification, and sequence analysis. Participants will spend more than half their time in the laboratory working with standard strains.
