The annual event is one of a distinguished series of international forums for sharing leading-edge scientific research. This year’s sessions focused on five key areas of concern: the impact of climate change on the biogeography of natural microcontaminants, the genomics and proteomics of toxin production, emerging toxin hazards and methods of predicting toxic events, new detection technologies, and the effects of environmental toxins on public health and economies around the globe.
